Growing vegetables in a half barrel is an excellent idea, especially if you have limited garden space. With such a large container, you can grow most types of vegetables, including those that require more room for their roots, such as broccoli, potatoes and eggplant.
Our barrels are made of solid oak and we especially like to grow potatoes, ginger, and tree collards in them.
